Hello everyone. It’s been a long time since we’ve posted an entry to the Mardox Blog.

Over the next week or so we will be updateing the User Interface. We are adding more functionality to the login site. One of the main changes that we’ve made was too our Search site located at http://search.mardox.com. Now when a visitor or user conducts a search they are offered the choice of what search engine that want to use.

We were going to go with a “Games” and “Of the day” section of the site by due to copyright issues we will be putting this on hold for a while. We are still looking for any Flash Game programmers who would like to create games for our network.

There are a few new services that we will be putting online later this week such as our long overdue NiceSearch.com site, and our $5 per referral program will be active this week.

The Admin

We finally fixed the Login interface issues that we’ve had for the past week. All seems to work fine but we would still like to hear from our users if anyone finds any new glitches.

We will have the Home and Profile sections of the Mardox site ready this week. We will also have the domain “games.mardox.com” ready. There are already 174 playable games available on that domain. Simply go to games.mardox.com/fog.com and choose a game. We will have more shortly.

The social sites interface, Mardox to FaceBook and Mardox to twitter will be ready in the next 10 days. Maybe sooner. For those of you who are asking what this is, Mardox to FaceBook and Mardox to Twitter will allow users to enter a small message and heave them posted automatically for FaceBook and Twitter.

Please let us know if there are any other social sites that we will need to interface with.

We’ve noticed over the past 6 months that some users have been abusing our services.

We are referring to AdsFreak.net, OpenSubmit.net, KewlRank.com and more. But these are the main problem sites.

We simply want to bring to everyone’s attention that all Mardox Services are based in Unique traffic or unique access. Not total access. For example, let say that you put the KewlRank.com buttons on your site. Lets say that you put the buttons 10 times on your site. On the very same page. This will NOT give you a higher rank. In fact that activity will cause your rank to go down.

If a user submits their web site to OpenSubmit.net tens or hundreds of times per day, it will not get their site listed any faster or give them a higher listing.

If a user fakes impressions on the AdsFreak.net banner rotation, they will not get more credits. Once again this system is based totally on Unique traffic.

What is Unique Traffic or Unique Access?

Unique refers to a single, first, access of an IP address. if your web site is accessed by IP address 100.200.1.2, the first access is referred to as the Unique access. all the other access are referred to as the total accesses.

so in closing. don’t try too spoof the systems. They do not work on total traffic or exposures… Only Unique access.

Hello everyone.

Sorry that we have not been posting to the blog for the past week or so. We are very busy programming the new Mardox Interface.

I want to take the moment to ensure our users that there are no problems with the accounts. All user data is safe and untouched. We are simply working through the Login interface problems. these problems are simply layout functions that need correcting. Eg: We fixed the Login page. Re-Added the LogOut link etc.

Otherwise everything else works properly.. We should have these human interface issues fixed by the Monday April 26, 2010.
